The DTC problem
Creative wins, and you can't see what's winning.
DTC lives and dies on creative. Your competitors are testing hooks, angles, and offers every week, and the ones that stick are quietly funding their growth. But you only see the ad that happened to hit your feed, on the one platform you happened to scroll, at the one moment you happened to look. That's a tiny, random sample of a competitor's whole testing program.
Same story on offers. A rival drops their free-shipping threshold, adds a first-order discount, or switches a bundle, and that single change can swing their conversion rate. Without visibility you test blind: you burn budget validating angles a competitor already proved or killed, and you copy the flashy ad that's actually a loser instead of the plain one that's been running for ninety days. Meanwhile the objections that stall your checkout ("is the quality worth it?", "what's the return policy?", "does it actually fit?") are being typed out, in public, in their reviews and in Reddit threads.
